Somerset Cricket Museum

Somerset Cricket Museum was established in 1985 and is housed within a Grade II* 15th century stone barn on the Coopers Association County Ground site, home of Somerset County Cricket Club. The board of Trustees were keen to be able to show off the museum in a digital way, to a large number of website visitors from over 60 countries, to help attract new in person, visits on match days and during the working week. They also wanted to have a means to show the upper galleries to visitors who are unable to use the stairs.

The Virtual Tour we have created for the Museum was designed to sit on their website where users can explore the exhibits and click on the hotspots to find out more information. The tour uses the same colours and fonts as around the museum itself, to help blend in with the website seamlessly. You can even make a donation to the museum from the Virtual Tour!

Somerset Cricket Museum now also have an offline version of the tour installed onto a computer on the ground floor of the museum so guests who cannot use the stairs can still explore the exhibits on the first floor.

Take the tour below.
